About James “Jay” Howell

Jay Howell is a Narrative Designer, Video Game Content Writer, Narrative and Localization Producer, and Poet based in Seattle, WA. He has worked on Transformers: Heavy Metal, Marvel’s Iron Man VR, Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid 2: Digital Graphic Novel, République, and République VR. Before he entered game development, he wrote extensively for Playstation: the Official Magazine, 1up.com, PSM, and Hardcore Gamer.

Master’s in English, emphasis on Poetry. Poems have appeared in various publications through Liverpool University Press, Clemson Review Press, and Texas Review Press.
